Residential Water Treatment

Here are photos of a typical well system and water treatment installation we do for a home.  Not shown is the well that was drilled in the rear yard about 50’ from the house and at least 100’ from the septic field.  A small stainless steel well tank is mounted on the wall with a solid-state, variable speed well pump controller attached to it in order to provide constant “city water” pressure in place of pressure fluctuations that occur in a conventional well system.

Although many of our wells require no water conditioning equipment, this installation has a single water-conditioning tank for removal of iron and odor that occurs naturally in the area this well was drilled.  If you are familiar with well installations made in the past, please note that a pressure switch and a larger well tank are still available from us, but no longer necessary when a variable speed pump is installed.
